Title: REPORT Last Run
Post by: LOUM on 29 Dec 2011 03:54:21 PM
Good Day!

Is there a way to run a report (or create) in COGNOS that shows when the last time all my reports were run? I have approx. 254 reports. I want to ensure they are all being used, if not I am going to archive them. PLease let me know your thoughts.

You should have enabled logging to the database. If you have already done that then you can use the Audit package to create reports about report executions and logins.

Sriram, thank you for the quick response. What audit package are you referring to? I am unsure of this.

There is a Framework Manager package called "Audit" that comes with the cognos installation. This package will be available as a zip file in the samples directory.

But, for you to be able to use this, you must enable logging to a database.

Check cognos administration documentation for audit logging.
