Title: Improptu does not want to be opened!

Hi,

I install Impromptu 7.3 in my laptop and desktop. The impromptu can be opened in the desktop, BUT not in the laptop. Both configuration were done in both computer in the same way. I am using Windows XP Professional for both computers. I tried to check Windows Task Manager, the impromptu did not show up there in the application and processes tabs when i clicked the impromptu every time.

Can anybody help me to solve this problem? I know this forum is for Impromptu, not for OS system. But this happened only for Cognos Impromptu, not for other products even ReportNet itself. I hope that someone knows how to fix it. What should i set on my computer to open impromptu in my laptop?

did you run configgui.exe from the bin directory in your cognos-installationroot?
