Migrating Cognos Reports 8.4 to 10.1 . For the steps on validating reports , should I validate on the Source and Target or just the Target environment. My Target enviroment is C10.(source is 8.4) Not interested on Running times , so I think I can skip The run Step.Do I need to run the reports thru Output Comparison ? Just need to validate since the rest of my team is going to run the reports separately on the 2 enviroments with test Scenarios.

Hi,

LifeCycle manager is to compare the run times/other scenarios. If you /your team is doing it manually you can skip working on LCM.
