Title: Downgrade compatibility - Cognos 8.4.1 to Cognos 8.3

While trying to migrate the reports from Cognos 8.4.1 to Cognos 8.3, getting report migration errors. Any suggestions on downward migration ?

I doubt you will have success in trying to downgrade. The xml specs changed between 8.3 and 8.4.1, so there are things in an 8.4.1 spec that 8.3 will not understand. Generally you will find that migrations work moving forwards but not going from later to earlier versions.
