hi all
wish you all happy new year 2007,

i am building cube in unix, cube is building succesfully but i am finding log file,
even i specified the logfile directory in the script '/data3/cognos/cer4/rtimedir/Log/' but if check dir Log it is empty, through script we are building four cubes succesfully

even i entered same path in preferences also, but log files are not created
do we need to give all path in preferences of each .mdl

can you advice

Hi All

i used the following options to create log file

-r4 -DLogFileName=abc.log -DLogFileDirectory=/cognos/cubes/log/

You can also specify it in preferences file. (-F option)
