I need to do a maintenance on some reports that uses layout components. Some of them are using conditional layouts on their cells and when the "father" report runs, the conditional layouts are not working !
I know that the components have some special needs to work, like copying the source queries and variables inside the "father" report, but couldn't find out how to solve this.
Any ideas ?

Cognos best practices suggest creating a stationary (not supposed to run) template report that houses the layout components referenced by other reports. We are using this for some time now and it works flawlessly!!

Yes, I usually do that too....
But this report was already done, and the request was to create a new prompt to call that report, using a reference to it... The report runs fine, but the conditional layout are failing...
Any kind of help will be really appreciated !
