Hello all, Blue responded to my post on the Llist server about not being able to see the images and requested I post the same message here....so here goes:
I have been informed that the product that I have been developing with since march '06 can be talked about openly.
Like most of us these days, I do not read the Cognos Support link anymore as it appears to no longer relate to the ADT area.

Most of you will not see the immediate benefit to the posted enhancement, the sample screen was rather basic to get the big picture.
If you take a standard Powerhouse screen similar to the this one:
With the new QKView tool your screens can now look like this:
NOW you can do the following:
1) Have function keys in windows
2) Use a mouse on the function keys on windows
3) Cut and Paste text from and to fields.
4) Embed your company logo on the top of the application
5) Change the font/colors (I even tried this out in Klingon, lol)
6) Size the window like any other windows app
7) Other stuff I have not discovered (or have already forgotten).
I hope this helps in dismissing the current discussion that Cognos ADT is dying, abandoned or whatever.....
The product is working excellently and is scheduled to be released April/May time frame as part of the 841E release on Windows.
