Title: Cognos Planning 10.1, X64 bit and Windows 2008 ODBC issue

Hi Gurus,

We are now in process of migrating Cognos 8.4 to 10.1 version.

Everything is smooth but the show stopper is ODBC.

We are using Oracle 11 driver (Oracle in OraClient11g_home1 ).

A ODBC link in 8.4 runs in 15 mins where as in 10.1 taking 3 hrs to finish.

Please help me. Its very urgent.

Hola,
Tienes que tener en cuenta que el cliente de oracle debe ser de 32bits, yo tengo el mismo entorno que el tuyo.
El odbc debe ser de 32bit y no de 64 bits, la ubicacion del odbc de 32 bits es: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe, prueba de esa manera a ver como te va.
