I have an application where I can perform a synchronize however it will not let me save it. I get the following message when I complete the synchronize process and then try to save it – "The model changes could not be saved and have been rolled back. Please tryto synchronize again." The only option I get is "OK".
I have tried multiple to do this and get the same result. I have rebooted server during this process to no avail.
Any suggestions on how to fix this, it is an important application and I don't want to loose it?
This solved it for me:

Dan,
I reviewed the ibm/support notation and it referenced disabling the 'RecycleBin' in the Oracle database. We use sql server, not oricle. Would there be same in a sql server environment?
Tom
I am not sure about SQL Server but you could ask your DBA. I suspect there is something similar but wouldn't know what to call it. I haven't used SQL Server since 2000. Sorry I can't be more helpful than that.
