Anybody run across the requirement to have a prompt page that will only ever be rendered when a report is being executed in the background/scheduled?
The report we have here has a couple dozen in-line prompts. The challenge comes that the requirement is for the report to execute and render results with no user interaction (no prompt page) when executing interactively, but also allow the users the ability to set parameters when the report is executed in the background. The current solution is using Cognos generated prompt page when user chooses to set parameters when running in background. My preference would be to have an "Optional" prompt page that is only rendered if the report execution is Background.
Any tips/ideas are greatly appreciated!!
