Hi,
does anybody know if there is still an external servlet ... needed to display
images stored in Oracle Blob columns , or if it's
already possibly out of the box in Cognos 8
any comments appreciated!

Solution:
Take a student programmer. Give him $200 and within 2 days you'll have an servlet that renders the blob to an image.
In other words: you'll need another tool to do this. C8 can't :'(
