I have a user that installed and used Contributor 10.1 in the Cognos 8.4.1 environment successfully. However, when the Cognos 10.1 environment was rolled out, this user was unable to use Contributor in the new environment. A log.txt is created each failure to document in, but I cannot make since of it. So has anyone else experienced this issue and/or does anyone have a solution? Thanks.

Without specific information about the error conditions this user is facing it'll be hard to diagnose the problem.
To start, though, have you attempted re-installing the client on this users machine from the ground up? If not, give that at try first. The product was designed to allow you to have both the 8.4.1 and the 10.1 Contributor client running on the same machine, but to do so you have to have the 10.1 framework installed first and then you can do the install of the 10.1 client and 8.4.1 client.
