Title: Contributor Applications not talking to database

Hi I have installed contributor 7.3 and SQL 2005 and when i specify this SQL server name in datastore, contributor is not speaking properly with the database can you please gimme the possible solutions.

Database tests pass (test button in database connection window)?
What is written in PlanningErrorLog.csv (located in C:\Windows\Temp\)?

make sure that there is a valid connection to the data store.  It is not clear if you are installing this on the same server or on different servers but you may need the client tools.  Instead of doing server name, try using the IP or better yet, try to ping the server using the IP.  It could also be that you SQL server is not properly installed and configured.
