Title: configure Apache 2 with cognos planning
Post by: ramaanujamr on 23 Sep 2011 08:44:04 AM
It is very confusing when i try to follow up IBM Apache configuration with cognos planning.  i thought everything is fine. But if i open Analysis studio from cognos connection page, it gives page cannot be displayed error. I think it is because of not setting up proper apache configuration. Do you guys have any thought?

Thanks
Ram

Hi Ram,

I've run into this before...  If you're attempting to launch Analysis studio with a default Planning installation, it will not work as this is a defect.  Analysis studio should not be present with a Planning installation.  You do require a BI server install in order to leverage that suite.

However, if you do have a full BI install present and you're still encountering this problem, you will likely want to post in a Cognos 8 or Cognos 10 thread to engage forum users with Analysis studio install and configuration experience.

Update:  This is only a 10.1 install issue as far as I'm aware.
