Our cognos portal is accessible only from the cognos server, not from any other machines on the network.
The portal was working earlier, and the users were able to run/build reports but after the server was updated for security patches the portal does not come up.
Any suggestions?
check your authentication settings in IIS for the default website...otherwise, we will need more info regarding your environment and what has changed since it was working...any OS patches, etc.?

thanks for your response, what exactly should i check for in the authentication settings?
last i checked, nothing changed from what i had the last time.
i'm trying to get a response from our network team for what patches that were installed on the server?
