Unable to attach a file, getting the below msg.... any idea?
The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved.
I think there is a maximum filesize the site will allow for uploads. It may be that your document is too big

The file size is just 17.3 KB. Shouldn't be a size issue?
Earlier I had uploaded a lot of files with a bigger size with no issues at all.

Hmmm.
I just tried one too, and I get the same error. Maybe the site admins turned the facility off for now.
You could always post your file onto Skydrive (or similar) and add a URL from here.
