Hi to everybody, i'm new to cognos planning, but i have strong knowledge of IBM Cognos 8.4 and 10. in the last month i'm trying to understand planning application and i'm concentrate on Analyst Model.My question is this ?
Suppose to have 4 D list
1 Timescale , simple timescale month based
1 Company , list of company of group
1 Elements, list of item
1 ActualCostVs Budget ....
... the problem is that the Elements d-list contain many item that are take in consideration when i consider one company of the group but not on other company...
es.. company1 -> item1,item2 item3,item4
comapny2 item1,item2,item5,item9 ...
and so on....
So my question is this... how can i link or share between company and elements the item contain in element d-list...
can think to my question such a lookup table.....

You need to use Saved Selections (these can be created by using the macro CreateDsels)
