Conditional Palette (Effect - Pattern) are not reflecting on legend. Please find attached document for the image.
I gave different patterns for different states it is reflecting to graph but not for legend.
Can any one suggest how to do?

I was having the same problem after reading the solution on Cognos Support. But after looking more carefully, the Conditional Palette defines exceptions to the regular palette
From IBM-Cognos support reference # 1343382
"Also note that conditional palettes define exceptions to the standard palette colours. The chart legend will reflect the standard colour palette rather than the colours or patterns assigned using a conditional palette. Additional labels may need to be defined outside of the chart to identify the new conditional palette colours to report consumers."
So, basically, we need to create our own Legend to match the colors. Seems like a half-baked solution by Cognos but that's what we have to work with.
