I have installed C10.1 on windows 2008 R2. I am able to conect to content store and start the services succesfully. But when I tried to connect for very first time I am getting following error
CM-REQ-4158 The search path "storeID("")" is invalid
Details:
DPR-ERR-2082 An error has occurred. Please contact your administrator. The complete error has been logged by CAF with SecureErrorID:2007-05-16-11:43:17.078-#5
Initially i tried with AD setup but later I have deleted and restarted the services but still I am getting this issue. Any help. Thankyou
From the looks of the error, your Active Directory user id is not associated with any groups Cognos 10 can search in Active Directory.
I found the same error on the IBM support site - it seems to confirm my suspicion:

I guess you need to change the search path in Cognos Configuration to point to the correct folder/group in AD, or else move the users in AD to a group/folder Cognos 10 can see.

I have removed Everyone Group from System Administrator . But then when other users are logging in , its giving same error when trying to access HomePage for that user. And in the top section the user login is not displaying. I dont want everyone group to be part of system adminstrator. I am using NTLM authenticaiton.
