Title: Configuring distributed installations of cognos reportnet

Hi,

I'm configuring distributed installations of cognos reportnet . my application server is web logic. I'm planning to have web logic server on one machine and reportnet server on a different machine. My doubt is

1. where shd i have my enviroment variables ?
2. how to declare the crn_root in web logic ?

If there is any supporting documentation please provide the details.

I guess we cannot have them in two systems.  Both CRN and App Server needs to be installed on the same computer.

If you have found the way how you can install CRN and App Server on different servers, then pls do share with me.

Thats correct, both CRN and app server need to be on the same box.

They are inseparable :D
