Title: Cognos shared installation
Post by: pkrishnaq on 19 Aug 2011 10:36:27 AM
Greetings cognosaholics,

Has anyone tried to do a shared installation of Cognos for multiple clients?
So ,essentially a single content store, single active directory and a web server for hosting multiple clients.

How should i go about it? Any suggestions would be great.

Hi BVK, thanks for this.

I am actually looking to have a single box with everything installed.
Its a pretty powerful box.
Intel Xeon 2x2.66 GHz CPU,
20 GB RAM(can be upgraded to 64 GB RAM) , 1360GB HDD
Windows 2003 SP2

This is good info for the distributed install, but just curious to know if a single powerhouse is good enough.

Thanks again
