Hello,

I have a data source connection issue in framework manager, but when i test the connection in cognos connection it says succeeded. I am getting following error

QE-DEF-0285 The logon failed.
QE-DEF-0325 The logon failed for the following reason:
RQP-DEF-0068 Unable to connect to at least one database during a multi-database attach to 1 database(s) in:
WAREHOUSE

UDA-SQL-0031 Unable to access the "WAREHOUSE" database.
UDA-SQL-0107 A general exception has occurred during the operation "attach".
ORA-12638: Credential retrieval failed

can someone help me out its very urgent.

I think you can find other posts on how to solve this.

I believe the issue is that Cognos Connection is using the database client software resident on the Cognos server while Framework Manager is relying on the database client software installed on whatever machine FM is installed on.

resolved this issue. Issue is with sql net. Changed it to none.

Hi hrk551, could you please provide details on how you changed sql net. to none.  i am having the same issue?  thank you.
