Hi all,

i am currenly building a Controller Application that will have some data loaded - and some manual entry companies (for the whole chart of accounts) - the cognos consultant that we have working for us, wants the data in YTD format for both BS and PL data, but it just doesnt make sense to me to have to provide it like that - nor can i see anywhere in the application documentation that that is the way to go.

Does anyone else have any opinions?

Hi,
it perfectly makes sense to import YTD. But that's not a technical, but a consolidation issue.

Hi Chappo,
I am totally new to Cognos Controller Envirnment. I want to know about setup(configuration) & how to bind cognos controller with typical BI Application (both cognos planning and cognos TM1). If you have student guide( tutorials) for cognos controller, please forward to me.......
