Hi,

Locally the Framework Manager metadata model is saved under model.xml

To be used when the package is published, I guess the model must be saved in some way on the database server (I am on SQL server 2005).

My problem is I cannot retrieve any part of my metadata model in the CognosContentStore database.

Any hint how I can retrieve info about my metadata model in the database?

In the Cognos KB, document # 1013386 gives a procedure for recovering the metadata from a published package. There is a note that it will not work in Cognos 8. I am not sure why that is, I have not tried it in Cognos 8.

Thanks Opher but as a member of the "higher education" Cognos user group I do not have access to the KB.
