HI Gurus,
I am configuring the cognos security in cognos configuration in a standalone machine.
I used NTLM authentication, created NTLM namespace ID.
Now i want to create user inside the NTLM how can i do it?

You do it from the Users and Groups dialog on the Windows machine. The NTLM namespace is maintained outside of Cognos 8, and is part of Windows.

Thanks for your kind information.It worked for me...

I have one more query on it,will i need to have both NTLM and LDAP to implement all the security or i can do every security option with NTLM itself.

If all your users and groups exist (or can be created within) NTLM, then that's all you should need. If, however, you have some users in NTLM and some already defined in LDAP, then you will need to add both namespaces to Cognos 8 to allow them access.
