Title: Accessing Cubes in Framework Manager[closed]

Hi
Can we importÃ,  poweplay cubes in Framework Manager or Reportnet ? if so How?

Not in ReportNet, sorry.  This functionality was added for Cognos 8.

The easy method of accessing PowerPlay cubes from the ReportNet environment is to use PowerPlay Enterprise Server to publish them to Cognos Connection.  They appear as links to the users in Cognos Connection, and when they click on them, the cubes open up using PowerPlay Web.  It's not actually importing the cubes, though, as PPES is required behind the scenes to provide access.

Yes you can.  In Framework Manager you define the MDC file as a data source.  You then publish the cube as a package to Cognos Connection.  Once the package is published in Cognos Connection (Cognos 8 BI version) is can be read by Analysis Studio, Report Studio, or Query Studio and you can create saved analyses and reports from it.
