Hi
I know there is no concept of hotfiles in cognos 8. But how should I import a text file( or any file like excel,csv,...) and use it as a datasource in framework manager? Thanks in Advance.

You would probably need to get hold of an ODBC Text driver to read in data in this format. Either that or use some other tool such as Data Manager or DTS to load the data into relational tables beforehand.
