Hi gurus,Ã, 

I'm exploring the possibility of upgrading our new CRN environment to C8 and in doing so, am researching Event Studio.Ã,  I have C8 loaded on our dev server and things seem to be going along pretty well, however I've been getting the following error whenever I try to run a scheduled event:

CNC-JOB-0025Ã,  Encountered an error updating the event status.

Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  DetailsÃ, 

CNC-EVE-3102 Unable to persist the event status record.Ã, 

Has anyone run into this before?Ã,  If so, what do I need to do to fix it??

H have seen this error before after a distributed install.  Usually it's caused by an incomplete configuration.  In Cognos Configuration (on whichever machine(s) are acting as Application Servers), make sure that the Notification configuration is complete - each application server needs to have a connection to the content store database defined, and my guess is that this resides on a separate machine.

Thanks MF.  It was actually a corrupted content store - only 43 tables out of 120+ were created, so some of the notification tables didn't get created.
