I have installed Cognos in one server and database in one server.In cognos server have oracle client.and through the cognos client i am able to connecting to database schemas and entered all tns name entries thier.
cognos 10.1(64bit)
Oracle 11g (64bit)
Suse Linux (64bit)
weblogic 10.3.3
sun one 8

here i am trying to create new data source connection in cognos connetion but i am getiing the issue see in attached screen shot

Hi pavanascet,

have you changed server name?some times it occurs because of the changing server name.

Hi,

Check that on the Cognos Server that you are using the Oracle 32bit client and not the 64bit client as Cognos Server requires the 32bit.
