Ive a problem where i have two reports.
In both reports i have a number of prompts which are the same prompts in the two reports.
Based on what is selected in the prompts, will display in a cross-tab.
On the cross-tab i have a drill-through defined to go to the other report.
Eg: select january on prompt will display january in cross-tab, then i drill-through on january to analyze the data differently in the other report, but now in my prompt in the second report will only display january and not the other months.
Please help. Any suggestions?
Have you tried making the report a tabbed report? This is what I generally do whenever I want two reports with the same prompts. it takes a little bit of work but is much easier for the end user and then the prompts will work as well. here's a link to help with it if you would be interested in doing it that way.
