Title: Restrict Access to members of the built-in cognos namespace not working

Can anyone confirm that the Cognos Configuration option "Restrict Access to members of the built-in cognos namespace" is working in Cognos 10.1 FP1?

I've done multiple installs in different environments and this options denies access to anyone other than the System Administrators.

Update: Cognos has provided me with a hotsite and problem is fixed...

Was the patch different than FP1?
We restricted one of the servers after FP1 and it worked without any issue.

The problem occurs only when you work with ROLES only. With groups all works fine.. When you add users only to roles, the won't be able to logon. Even after applying FP1

Hi  cognos guru,

we are facing the same issue as well. but we don't have any user add it to roles. only add it to group only. even though it is not allowing the user to login to cognos connection. Pls help me to solve this issue.
