1. Check if there any internal links to the target cube.

2. Check the mapping for the dimensions.

Thanks,
A

1. target cube = calculation cube and has many internal links
2. Check - all is ok

I know this is an old post, but the IBM doc appears to not be relevant unless it is the last item regarding GUID inconsistencies.  Oddly, enough, my error message is identical to the one posted in 2010 in this thread, even including the GUID displayed:

Unable to find translation item ID '{AB6955BF-1CEF-4024-BCFC-7366DBCDB30C}' for control 'cmdFormat(M_SOURCE).ToolTipText'.  Invalid procedure call or argument
Unable to find translation item ID '{AB6955BF-1CEF-4024-BCFC-7366DBCDB30C}' for control 'cmdFormat(M_TARGET).ToolTipText'.  Invalid procedure call or argument

We are using an allocation table to map the source with the target.  I've checked all GUIDs in the source and target dimensions in Analyst, and none of them have this GUID.  I suspect this GUID is not unique to our environment but rather directly related to the error message, especially since it is identical to the one posted above in this thread.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We are on 8.4.1 on a SQL database.  Let me know what else you need from me, please.

We ran into this way back and I ended up dropping the allocation table and manually mapping in the Admin link. IBM support was involved but they did not resolve it so we stuck with the work around. Pretty much a pain in the butt as the two cubes that were affected have fairly large dlists.

I suggest dropping the allocation table and trying it with a manual mapping to see of the problem goes away. If it does, try creating a new allocation table and see if that works.

Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Thanks, Danno.  That's what I suspected, although it is disappointing that this functionality does not work (a-tables in the admin links).
