Hi,

there is no configuration on iPad at all. You only need to install the mobile component to the gateway and dispatcher. After you installed it, you can access Cognos 10 by using Safari on your iPad with the normal URL. you will be asked if you would like to use the mobile interface. But thats all.

No separat installation on iPad is needed.

cheers

There is currently no specific solution for Android. You have have success trying to run reports natively through the browser, but they will not be rendered for mobile devices in the way that they are on an Apple device.

Hi,

over the WebApp interface Android and even Playbook are supported till the realease of Cognos 10.1 FP1. The native app only exists for the iPad due to the market share of iPads.

greetz.

Yep - the web app now runs in Android and Blackberry browsers too, and the native iPad app is now available from the Apple Store.

Cheers!
