Title: created a view for a report....... Urgent

Hi ,

I have created a view in data base for a report,and i developed a crosstab report with dynamic columns, when i run the report(Excell) it is taking long time , how to over come this problem.

Hi,

Can you please give more description. have you tries running the quey in tabular form.How long the query takes to return tabular data? What do u mean by Dynamic columns in crosstab.

Hi ,

There is a Temp table in data base this table we joined to the master table,when ever we enter some fields into the temp table those fields are spooled into the report.there is nearly 104 fields are there in the temp table, in the sence 104 column's will come in crosstab. and nearly 100000 records in the master table.

please help me in this, how to improve the performence.its urgent.
