Hi all,

Pls let me have your valuable suggestions to achieve the same.

I have 2 value prompts Branch & Sub_Branch. Branch is the Cascade source for Sub_Branch. Everything is working fine.

At present Sub_Branch is showing the Code, where as the user would like to see the description for these values. To get the description for these Sub_branches I am referring to another table in the DB. In Report with the Sub_Branch query I have joined this table and getting the respective sub_branches description. No issues.

However, the cascading is not working. When I click on Branch I am getting the below error.

Have been trying to achieve this in report level but no success yet.

Any tricks?

Let me add few points:

• There is no relationship between the Table report is build and the Table with the description
• I am trying to define the join in Report level, but no help
