Has anyone seen this error message before? What does it mean? How did you
rectify the problem?

UDA-SQL-0190 A local database name is required within a multi-database to
locate a specific database.

I've seen similar errors but need more info
1. Whats the database, vendor, version build?
2. What db client has been installed if at all on the Bi Server and on FM?
3. On what platform has the Bi Server been installed on?
4. Does the data source connection succeed in IBM Cognos Connection?
5. What version of Cognos CM have you installed?

Thank You for the reply. I decided yesterday to just try to recreate the parametrized filter and now it is working!
For now all is cool!
