Title: Menu links being overlaid
Post by: james899 on 25 Feb 2011 11:03:42 AM
Every time I navigate to a page with menu links below the main menu the links or overlaid on top of each other and I cannot read them. This happens on my profile summary which is annoying since I start there and go there a lot. It also happens on the HELP page. I attached screen shots of this behavior. Is there a text size  setting or some setting that will resolve this? I do not see this behavior on any other website. Thanks in advance for the reply.

I really like this forum but issue like this and being logged out each day and being locked out when changing email address are small annoyances. They may not get fixed but if they are not reported they can't be fixed.

Ooo - that looks horrible!!  What browser and version are you using?  Have you cleared out your browser cache since the site was upgraded a few weeks ago?

I am using IE 6.029 SP3 with Windows XP, Citi is stingy with technology even though they made $10B net last year. I have no other browser on my work PC but if I remember I will try this at home with IE 7, 8 and Firefox. yes I cleared the cache but good idea, I always tell people to do that for internet issues and sometimes I forget my own advice but not in this case.

Any other people report this? Changing the text size had no effect. It only happens on the togglebar menu level. The source code shows php code controlling the togglebar so it can be hidden. That is the only unique thing I could find for that menu level. Maybe IE does not render such php code well. As soon as I hover over the double arrow on the right ( togglebar) , the menu options align correctly.
