Here's the situation...
When you select an item to query and apply a filter criteria to filter, in this case, where Entity ID is 'SLD'.Ã, When trying to add additional query items when the filter is applied, you are basically unable to do soââ,¬Â¦notice the hour glass under query subject Month Sales (see attached screenshot).Ã, I was going to select a query item from Month Sales query subject but never shows a list of the query itemsââ,¬Â¦only an hour glass and sits for an indefinite period of time.
This isssue is true for all environments and all packages.Ã,Â
Re-create issue:
- In Cognos Connection, click on Query Studio
- Select a packageââ,¬Â¦could be any package
- Select one or more query items from any query subject and drag it to the work area to the right
- Select a column
- Apply a filter by choosing check marking any value and click OK
- Go to another query subject and click on the plus symbol
- The issue has been recreated
I re-created this issue multiple times on 2 different computers on different packages.Ã,Â
Has anyone else had this problem?Ã, What did you do to solve it?

I couldn't attach the screen shot. I guess the file is too large.
I found out that this issue is related to a conflict between MR2 and IE6. MR3 corrects this problem. Just need to upgrade to MR3.
