I have one of my developers asking me how to create "flyouts" in Tranformer. I know that functionality exists in Cognos in general, however I'm not sure if you can create flyouts in Transformer...? If not, do you have to Publish the Model first and then create the flyouts once the Model is published...????

To further explain my first post, In Report Studio we are able to see "descriptions" when hovering over insertable objects when the package is published with Framework Manager. If the package is published with Transformer the descriptions do not show when hovering over the insertable object in Report Studio...!
This will not work in V8.3, 8.4, or 10.1...an enhancement request; and workaround; has been logged with IBM development(below)
Your issue has been identified as an enhancement request with the product and is currently logged with development under reference number (COGCQ00416528). Development currently has ownership of the issue and is doing further investigation to resolve it. Currently the closest workaround would be to add a decription to the Transformer model at the properties of the dimension/level. Then the cube can then be opened in PowerPlay Server / PowerPlay client and you can then do a right click and choose "Explain".
