Title: no of Rows limitation on .CSV format

is there any limitation in no of rows while running .CSV format?
if yes, then how many?

By default, .CSV files are opened in Excel, so even though .CSV files don't have the 65k row limitation, the file will be truncated if it is opened in Excel.

Though presumably the latest version of excel would allow 1mill records for CSV files as per the new limit. 

Though when Cognos is reading in CSV does anyone know if there a limit then?
