Hi. I'm using Cognos 8.4.1. I have a public report I created in Report Studio that displays a chart based on a prompt. I would like to display this chart in a public Page, but I want it to be customized so that individual users can save their prompt selections and the next time they view this public Page, their prompt selection would automatically show. My initial thought was to have users create a report view and place it in their "my folders" and not change the default name of the report view. Then I would point a Report Viewer portlet to the report view in My Folders. The problem is that the portlet stores the CAMID with the report view since it is in the My Folders. Is their a way to dynamically set this in the Report Viewer portlet so that it just picks up the users CAMID (essentially pointing to their My Folders). Every user would have the same report view name, but it would be stored in their My Folders. Or, is there an easier way to accomplish this?
