I have a question about the version of sql for using cognos 8/ Report net. Is it possible to use SQL server 2000 or do I need to upgrade to SQL 2005? If not what kind of problem can I expect?

Hi;

Till now i Dint used SQLServer2005.Currently our content store is SQL Server 2000 .Try to remember to install service pack SP3 or SP4.

You need SQL Server 2000 SP3. The install will screw up without SP3 or higher.

I can't speak to SQL 2005. Have not used it yet.
