Thank you PRIT,

I installed IBM's Cognos BI 8.4 Trial version and Sample. Restored the database also.

Then i opened the sample CPF file from framework manager. What i have to do to run that project to view dashboards and reports.Can you help?

Can you see the sample ZIP files under 'Deployment' folder where you have installed Cognos Server?

You have to import the required zip file into your congnos env.

I would suggest you to go through the 'ADMINISTRATION AND SECURITY GUIDE' Chapter 21: Deployment... u would get a fairly idea about how to import the ZIP files....

Then you can see all the reports that ZIP file contains in your Public Folder and run those reports.....

Please go through 'ADMINISTRATION AND SECURITY GUIDE'...
