I'm upgrading from 7.3 to 8.4.1. I have a d-list formatted item on a conditional statement that shows the calculation all the way to the top e-list node in 7.3. However, in 8.4.1, the d-list formatted conditional statement works on the leaf node and the parent node but not the grandparent node (nothing is shown on the dimension for this item).
I am running:
Windows 2003
SQL 2005
Cognos 8.4.1
distributed environment
upgrading from 7.3 SP3
The condition statement basically just says, if these x values are all = 0, then return "OK" - otherwise return "Error."
Hey Jeff,
You might want to get this logged with support to see if there's a change behind the scenes that might be causing this. Especially if you're certain nothing structural has changed in Analyst since the upgrade. To say, the newly upgraded to 8.4.1 application is identical structurally to the 7.3 application.
