Title: run report as excel (RS)
Post by: carlos_ai on 11 May 2006 08:44:42 AM
Hello,

I've created a report based on scorecard objects of metric studio. The report e.g. has metric name, actual, target, traffic light, etc. However, when I run the report as excel all traffic light icons are not visible! I see a picture object in excel with a red cross in the middle. This also happens with the company logo, which I added to the report.

Is there a way to fix this?

Kind regards,
Carlos

Could you please provide your statement with some evidence...
Because it's very easy to say something like that...

I agree that a statement like that should be based on more than just words.

But in the mean time, do you have any idea on how to solve my problem?

Thnx!

Carlos,

I'm not sure if this is relevant but when using other images in pdf or excel you need to make sure that you enable access to sample images:

ââ,¬Â¢   In IIS tick the Directory Browsing property of \crn\samples\images

You may also want to try allowing anonymous access for this directory.

If you can locate the whereabouts of the traffic light images in IIS then you could try doing the same thing for that virtual directory.

Hope this helps.
