Title: formatting scorecard actuals in report studio
Post by: carlos_ai on 11 May 2006 03:38:03 AM
Hello!

I'm trying to create a report in report studio, which shows metrics of scorecards made in metric studio.
In metric studio a metric belongs to a metric type, which has a certain format, e.g. number of decimal places.

When I create a report with the object "actual", it shows the actual exactly how it was loaded in metric studio, e.g. 9.45678889. However, in metric studio I see this number as 9.46 because it belongs to a metric type which has 2 as the number of decimal places to show.

How can I get report studio to copy that format, which is hidden in the metric type? The only possibility I see is to format the entire 'actuals' column, but this isn't a real solution because metrics of all sorts of types can occur in the report.

Kind regards!
Carlos

G'day Carlos

Did you try setting the properties for that data item in the query window?

I think what you mean is to set the properties for the entire column and that isn't what I want because each metric in the list can have different settings. When you change the properties for the column, the entire column gets the same display properties.
