Hi Gurus:

We are running cognos reports in 8.4 version. Please let us know how we can give user of the reports the ability to schedule them but restrict them from deleting any packages or reports. According to Cognos docs and access permission the user needs write access in order to Schedule reports.

To restrict the user from deleting any packages or reports, you have to remove the user from all 'Administration' roles e.g. Report Administrators,rver Administrators ,System Administrators etc...
