Hi,
I have installed cognos 8.4.1 server and Framework manager. I have also installed a DB2 server on my machine. I am adding a new data ODBC data source using ibm db2 odbc driver. I am able to view the added datasource through db2 control center but the framework manager is unable to connect to this datasource.

create the same named data source on your machine's ODBC
and also make sure the uid/pwd on cognos connection is correct...mundane as that sounds.
