Title: Problems with Allocation Tables in Analyst
Post by: Rizzy on 09 Nov 2010 06:55:02 AM
I have set up allocation tables in Analyst which are being used to move data between Contributor applications by the use of Admin Links

Problems arise when I had to append additional mappings of lines in the A-table.  The result is that the admin link (or the A-table) does not recognise the appended mapped line in the a-table.  The result is that no data is moved at all.

Has anyone else come across this problem?  and if so what was the solutions?

Many thanks

Riz

Hello Rizzy,

Just wondering if you ran a sync with in the Admin Link?

Steps:

Open the CAC > Expand Administration Links > Manage Links.

Select your Link in question and click Synchronize check box. Then Click the Sync button in the middle of the page.

Cheers,

Rizzy,

When you create an administration link based on an Analyst A-Table, there is always the possibility that the underlying A-Table in Analyst can change over time. You can synchronize to ensure the A-Table you have used in an administration link is up to date.

Steps
1) From the Contributor Administration Console, under Administration Links, click Manage Links.

2) In the Select for Validation and Synchronization column, select the check box for each administration link that you want to synchronize.

3) Click Synchronize.

4) You can monitor the progress of the synchronization by clicking Monitor Links in the tree under Administration Links. After the synchronization job runs, the edit status will be COMPLETE.

Note: You can automatically synchronize one or more administration links by using the Synchronize Administration Links macro.

Pravin
