Title: SLOW RENDERING PORTAL PAGES

I got the issues of slow performance while using portal pages.

Here i found a article state that i can solve it by changing the Cognos Viewer to HTML Viewer

However ,Did anyone know how can a HTML Viewer communication with the other portal .?Thanks

hi

I have the same question as yours.

I've built a portal page with two columns, a cognos navigator to the left and a cognos viewer (report) to the right. The two columns are connected by the same channel name. If I run a report by clicking in the navigator to the left, the report is displayed to the right. It works fine with the combination of "cognos navigator" and "cognos viewer". But the performance is not good enough.

I also found the link you mentioned, but I don't know how to communicate "HTML viewer" with "cognos navigator".
